THE DOMESTIC WORKER REGULATIONS

Contract – Employment contracts must be written in Arabic and signed by both parties.

Recruitment Fees – Employers cannot deduct recruitment or visa costs from workers’ wages.

Wages – Workers must be paid at least once a month, with proof of payment required.

Working Hours – No fixed legal working hours; they must be agreed upon in the contract.

Rest & Breaks – Breaks and rest periods must be negotiated between worker and employer.
